APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Open hook and loop closures on support.
2. Position the support behind the knee so that the strap ends are
toward the front, and the support is centered on the crease behind
the knee (Figure 1).
3. The lower left strap should fall just below the knee and lay in the
natural indentation inferior to the patella. Pull the lower left strap
over the knee. The inside tubular-shaped support pad provides
compression to the patella tendon and should lay directly in the
natural indentation. Pull the right lower strap to meet the left and
feed the hook end through the buckle (Figure 2). Fold hook strap
over to adjust compression and secure to loop patch.
4. Secure top straps with hook and loop. The neoprene should provide
a comfortable amount of compression and should not feel
constrictive. The kneecap should fit in the opening between the
upper and lower straps (Figure 3).
Unfasten closures to remove support.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Secure hook and loop closures. Hand wash in cold water with mild soap. Wrap in a towel to
remove excess water (do not twist or wring). Air dry away from heat. Do not tumble dry. Do
not use bleach.
WARNING: Contact of neoprene material with skin may cause irritation. Persons with a known
susceptibility to dermititis or with broken skin should avoid contact with this material. If skin irritation
develops from contact with this material, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
Should not be worn by those with phlebitis or circulatory disorders. Not recommended for use during
sleep. NOTE: Consult your physician if you experience pain, swelling or unusual reactions.
